Veterans Day grants: still time to get your bids in
Organisers of local Veterans Day celebrations have until 31 May to apply for Ministry of Defence (MOD) grants, using the application form and guidance notes found on this site.
To be successful in bidding for MOD funding, applicants must demonstrate how their planned event will deliver the key Veterans Day messages:

• The veterans community is highly diverse; all ex-Service personnel are veterans, whatever their age or service experience.
• Veterans are valued, not just because of their service, but also because of the contribution they continue to make to their community and civilian employers, through the transferable skills they have acquired while in the Services.
• A wide-range of support and advice is available to veterans through the public, charity and voluntary sectors.
